Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park hosts an annual appreciation banquet for their Bonsai and Perennial Societies; the members of which are among the gardens' most essential donors.
Working with Lydia Writes Good, I was tasked with designing welcome signage, table numbers, food and drink menus, name tags, and banners for the 2022 banquet.
The client's chosen visual direction was floral art nouveau. We sourced imagery of this style, then reconstructed and combined them into different themes for different assets.
The end result was an opulent set of signage adorned with blossoming flowers, twisting vines
and winding roots — motifs reflective of the perennials and bonsai trees after which
the societies are named.
