Lydia Writes Good is a design & copywriting agency in Grand Rapids, Michigan, founded by designer-copywriter Lydia VanHoven-Cook. Alongside client work; Lydia designs and sells cards, prints, button pins, stickers and mugs.
While working with LWG, I developed concepts for and styled a photoshoot with all our merch.
Primary concept. We used multicolor model clay and pompoms as props; I built faux fur-covered pedestals in coordinating colors..

Secondary concept. We were inspired by the flat-colored backgrounds.

Tertiary concept. Block letters as props to express Lydia's "words-first approach" to work. We ended up using faux cowhide as an accent.

#2-3 we were liking, too.
